STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS: Week of May 22nd-26th, 2017

• Mixed Chorus and Concert Choir will be presenting their spring concert on Monday, May 22 at 7:00 pm in the Kay Porter Theater.  We will be performing pieces from the English Renaissance, music from the Sacred Harp and Southern Harmony hymn traditions, a spiritual, a beautiful French choral piece, and a song by the great English composers Lennon and McCartney.  We will also recognize graduating seniors.  We hope that you will join us!
• Junior Class Officers meeting with Jostens during advisory in the office conference room on Tuesday, May 23rd.

• Student ID's will be taken up during Advisory on Tuesday, May 23rd.

• A+ Scholarship Meeting for students wanting to do tutoring over the summer will be Tuesday May 23 in the EXCEL room (next to the library) during advisory.

• There will be a Tennis Meeting for all girls wanting to play tennis next year on Tuesday, May 23rd during advisory.  Meet in Coach Harper's class, Room 327.

• MacBook Collection for 9th – 11th grade students will be Wednesday, May 24th  beginning around 12:30pm, students will be called down to the gym for MacBook collection by class: Freshmen, Sophomores, & Juniors.

• All library books are now overdue.  Student accounts will be charged the replacement cost of the book until they are returned.  Please bring the books in or place them in the book return slot by the door nearest the commons area.  

• All AP Physics Students for 2017-18 need to see Mrs. Miller (room 204), or email, or message her before they leave for the summer. Thanks!

• Friday, May 26th school will be in session for 4 hours.  There will be no student lunches served on Sr. High campus.  Students and teachers will follow the normal schedule 1st & 2nd period.  After 2nd hour we will have different events going on around campus; dodgeball, basketball, movies, gamers corner, baseball home run derby, etc.  This will last until 11:15 when students will need to report back to advisory for attendance.  All classes will be dismissed from advisory, for summer break at 11:45 a.m.

MONDAY, MAY 22

1. NO SCHOOL FOR SENIORS

TUESDAY, MAY 23

1. Baseball (V) Sectionals here with Rockwood Summit at 4:30 (Admission will be $7.00)

2. Final Exams in 6th & 8th periods

3. NO SCHOOL FOR SENIORS

WEDNESDAY, MAY 24

1. Final exams in 1st, 3rd & 5th periods

2. MACBOOK COLLECTION for 9th – 11th grade students during 6th -8th periods in the main gym.   Today we will follow a normal class schedule.  Students will be called out of classes by advisory during 6th -8th hours.

3. NO SCHOOL FOR SENIORS

THURSDAY, MAY 25

1. Final exam  7th  Period

2. Track (V) State Championships at Jefferson City

3. NO SCHOOL FOR SENIORS

4. Commencement Practice at Black River Coliseum at 9:00 a.m.

5. Commencement at the Black River Coliseum at 7:00 p.m.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

FRIDAY, MAY 26

1. Final exam 2nd Period

2. Seniors can pick up diplomas in the Principal’s Office from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  

3. School will be in session for 4 hours.  There will be no student lunches served on Sr. High campus.

4. Track (V) State Championships at Jefferson City
